Description

Decorate your sacred space or architectural projects with this 2-piece set of our golden wooden temple top (Gajur). It represents the skillful characteristics of Nepalese wood working artisans as well as the spiritual ascension. This beautifully hand-carved wooden temple top has been crafted from a piece of wood and showcases the talent of Nepalese woodworking artisans.

Besides its aesthetic beauty, the product also carries the cultural heritage, and each part from the top to the bottom has different spiritual meanings. The piece begins with a sharp, pointed conical tip. This tear-drop shape is reminiscent of a flame or a sacred bud, signifying the highest point of spiritual focus. Directly below the tip are three distinct, horizontally stacked discs. These rings taper slightly, creating a rhythmic transition from the sharp point to the wider body below. Similarly, a decorative layer of stylized lotus petals follows the rings. In Nepalese architecture, the lotus symbolizes purity and serves as a graceful transition point between sections.

Then the middle section is a smooth, bulbous form that mimics the shape of a traditional ritual water vessel (Kalash). It features a slender neck that widens into a rounded center before narrowing again at the base. A second, larger tier of carved lotus petals supports the central body. This layer is more pronounced than the upper collar, providing a sense of visual weight and balance. Likewise, the structure concludes with a wide, solid circular base that flares outward. This smooth finish ensures stability while mirroring the elegant curves found throughout the piece.

Finally, the golden finish has a soft, satin-like sheen that catches the light on the rounded edges, emphasizing the hand-carved details of the wood underneath.
