Prayer Flag Printed Lampshade

What would be the best thing as a gift to offer someone closer to your heart other than our prayer flag printed lampshade? The lokta paper crafters in Nepal make this beautiful lampshade which spreads the powerful Buddha mantra with the sparkle of lights. Just like a string of prayer flags, this lampshade has five colorful papers stuck together where the Windhorse prayer flag mantras are screen-printed on it. To give it an earth shape that can be folded, the crafters have used metal wires.

Furthermore, as the Buddhist people believe in the ancient story of the prayer flag spreading the Buddha mantra with the wind, this prayer flag lampshade also spreads the shine of the light through the Buddha’s Om Mani Padme Hum mantras which is usually seen as printed on the prayer flags. The Windhorse and the other symbols with Mantras printed on this lampshade showcase the rich cultural heritage of Buddhism in Nepal.

Our prayer flag printed lampshade measures 34 centimeters wide in diameter approx. As our product is produced entirely by hand, your understanding of the slight variation in sizes and colors of this product is highly appreciated.
